Spanish Style Liver Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 Small, thinly sliced | |
| Green pepper | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Pimiento | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Mushrooms | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| Canned tomatoes | 2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Beef liver slice | 6 | |
| 1/4 cup olive oil or vegetable oil | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Melt butter and saute onion and green paper.
2) Stir in pimiento, tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic, salt, and pepper.
3) Simmer for 50-60 minutes or until the sauce thickens and then remove the garlic.
4) Keep the sauce aside.
5) Combine the flour with salt and pepper.
6) Toss the liver with flour mixture and brown in oil.
SERVING
7) Top with the sauce and serve on a heated platter.
