Spanish Sauce Recipe
Spanish Sauce is a mouth watering side dish recipe. An easy to prepare sauce recipe; I bet, it wont let you forget its taste forever. So, give it a try and squander its taste!
Ingredients
1 large onion, minced
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
1 small clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups canned Italian plum tomatoes
1/2 bay leaf
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Small pinch of cloves
1/4 cup stuffed olives, chopped
Directions
1. Saute the onion, green pepper and garlic in the butter until lightly browned, stirring often.
2. Chop the tomatoes in the can, using a knife. Add the tomatoes and remaining ingredients to the sauteed mixture and simmer, partly covered, until thick, or about thirty minutes. Stir occasionally. Adjust the seasonings and remove the bay leaf.
3. Place two tablespoons of the sauce on an omelet before rolling it. Garnish with more sauce.
