Spanish Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 clove garlic, pressed or minced
2 tablespoons bacon fat or salad oil
1 can (15 1/2-ounces) stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Dash cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can (2 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces
Directions
Combine peppers, onion, garlic and fat in 1 quart casserole.
MICROWAVE 1 MINUTE, 30 SECONDS to 3 MINUTES on HIGH, or until onions are transparent.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover with waxed paper.
MICROWAVE 5 to 6 MINUTES on HIGH, or until sauce reaches desired consistency, stirring after 2 1/2 minutes.
