Ingredients
1 3-to-4-lb (1.5-2 kg) half leg of fresh ham
1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground ginger or 1 tbsp (15 mL) fresh ginger, grated
1 tsp (5 mL) paprika
The glaze:
1/2 cup (125 mL) marmalade
3/4 cup (200 mL) orange juice
Grated rind of one orange
2 tbsp (30 mL) cornstarch
1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
1/2 tsp (2 mL) powdered ginger
1 cup (250 mL) fresh grapes, cut in half
1/3 cup (80 mL) orange liqueur or brandy

€¢ Mix together the ginger and the paprika.
€¢ Brush the top of the roast with the mixture.
€¢ Set the roast on a microwve rack in a glass baking dish. Microwave 30 minutes at MEDIUM, then remove from oven.
