Spanish Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| Onions | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (Special oil - 2 tablespoons) | |
| Raw rice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Special oil - 2 tablespoons) | |
| Chopped tomatoes | 2 Cup (16 tbs), canned (Special oil - 2 tablespoons) | |
| Boiling water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Special oil - 2 tablespoons) | |
| Salt | 3/4 Teaspoon (Special oil - 2 tablespoons) | |
| Ground black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon (Special oil - 2 tablespoons) | |
| Garlic | 1/4 Teaspoon, minced (Special oil - 2 tablespoons) | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, minced (Special oil - 2 tablespoons) |
Directions
MAKING
1.In a heavy saucepan, saute onions in heated oil for 5 minutes.
2.Add rice to the pan and cook until yellow and see through.
3.Put water, salt, tomatoes, pepper and garlic in the pan and cook rice on low flame for 25 more minutes with the lid on.
4.Cook until the rice is soft and does not contain excess moisture.
5.Put water if needed for cooking the rice.
SERVING
6.Garnish with parsley and serve.
