Ingredients

 Green bell pepper1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Onion1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm)
 1 tablespoon butter or vegetable oil
 Cooked rice3 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 16-ounce can tomatoes, with liquid
 Chili powder2 Teaspoon
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 1 cup textured vegetable protein (TVP) rehydrated in 1 cup boiling water (optional)

Directions

Saute green pepper, onion and garlic in melted butter or vegetable oil until onion is transparent.
Stir in all remaining ingredients. Heat thoroughly before serving.
