Spanish Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| Green bell pepper | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| 1 tablespoon butter or vegetable oil | ||
| Cooked rice | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 16-ounce can tomatoes, with liquid | ||
| Chili powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 cup textured vegetable protein (TVP) rehydrated in 1 cup boiling water (optional) | ||
Directions
Saute green pepper, onion and garlic in melted butter or vegetable oil until onion is transparent.
Stir in all remaining ingredients. Heat thoroughly before serving.
