Spanish Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 lb. ground beef chuck | ||
| 2 tbsp. bacon drippings | ||
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Green pepper | 3 Tablespoon, diced | |
| Mushrooms | 1 3 1/2 Ounce | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 5 Ounce | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Instant rice | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Brown the ground beef in the bacon drippings, then add the onion, green pepper, mushrooms, tomato sauce, salt and water.
Simmer for at least 2 hours or longer, adding water if needed.
Add the rice and cover.
Cook for 15 minutes longer.
