Spanish Peas Recipe
Spanish Peas is an amazingly delicious mouth watering side dish recipe. Serve it at your dinner party; I bet you will have a huge fan following for this one!
Ingredients
2 lb. peas
2 Tbs. tomato puree
2 Tbs. water
1 oz. lard or dripping
1 tsp. salt
Pinch of pepper
A speck of garlic
2 oz. bacon
2 Tbs. chopped parsley
8 oz. chipolata sausages
1 Tbs. flour
Directions
Put all the ingredients, except the bacon and sausages, in a pan.
Put on the lid and cook gently until the peas are tender.
Ten minutes before serving add the bacon, which has been grilled or fried and cut in small pieces, and the sausages, which have been grilled or fried and cut in slices.
Mix well and serve hot.
