Spanish Peaches Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 30-ounce can cling-peach halves | ||
| Dark brown sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Lime juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sherry | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 tablespoon grated lime peel | ||
Directions
At least 2 hours before serving: Drain peaches, reserving 1/2 cup syrup.
In small saucepan, combine syrup, brown sugar, lime juice and sherry; simmer 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, place peach halves, flat side down, in serving dish; pour syrup mixture over them.
Sprinkle with grated lime peel.
Refrigerate until serving time.
