Spanish Cream Recipe
Ingredients
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs), scalded | |
| Egg yolks | 4 | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tablespoons granulated gelatine | ||
| Cold water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cream | 1 Pint | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Whip some cream.
MAKING
2. In a bowl, mix sugar with egg yolks.
3. Add scalded milk over this mixture very slowly.
4. Cook it in double boiler until it becomes smooth and thick.
FINALIZING
5. Allow it to cool.
6. Then add vanilla and beat along with egg whip until it becomes thick.
7. Add whipped cream to it.
SERVING
8. Chill in moulds and serve.
