Spanish Burgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 4 Tablespoon | |
| 8 vegetable burgers, cubed | ||
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Celery stick | 2 , chopped | |
| Carrots | 3 , chopped | |
| 1 green pepper, seeded and chopped | ||
| Mushrooms | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Chopped tomatoes | 1 16 Ounce | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Paprika | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| 1/2 cup baby peas | ||
| Juice of 1/2 lemon | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Melt half of the butter in a large saucepan and brown the burger chunks, about 5 minutes in total.
Remove them from the pan and place to one side.
Melt the rest of the butter and saute the onion and celery.
When the onion and celery are tender, return the burger chunks to the pan and stir gently.
Add all the remaining ingredients except the peas and lemon juice.
Stir well and cover the pan.
Simmer gently for 30 minutes.
Add the peas and simmer for a further 5 minutes, stirring often.
Pour in the lemon juice.
Serve immediately.
