Spanish Beans Recipe

4 cups sprouted red kidney beans
 
1 clove garlic, minced
 
2 medium onions, sliced
 
1/2 cup celery diced
 
3 tbsp. bacon fat
 
Salt to taste
 
Freshly-ground pepper
 
1/2 cup strong black coffee
 
1/4 cup Bourbon whiskey sour cream

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°.
In skillet, heat bacon fat.
Saute onions, garlic and celery until soft.
Place in 2-quart baking dish with bean sprouts.
Stir in salt, pepper, coffee and Bourbon.
Cover and bake for 1 hour.
Check dish for liquid content during baking.
If dry, add coffee.
