2 pounds spaghetti
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 1/3 cups Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Cook spaghetti in large kettle of boiling salted water; drain.
Stir in butter and half the cheese.
Remove bay leaf from sauce; spoon sauce over spaghetti.
