Ingredients

 Ground beef1 Pound
 Onion1/2 Cup (16 tbs), minced
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), pressed
 Green pepper1/3 Cup (16 tbs), minced
 3 cups peeled and cubed tomatoes or
 1 can tomatoes 2-2/3 cups water
 Ketchup1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Dried oregano1/4 Teaspoon
 Black pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 8 oz. spaghetti, broken in thirds
 3 slices toast, spread with garlic butter, for garnish

Directions

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown meat, onion and garlic, stirring to break up meat.
Add green pepper.
Cook 3 minutes longer.
Add tomatoes, water, ketchup, salt, oregano and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Add spaghetti.
Bring back to a boil, stirring to separate spaghetti pieces.
Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Spoon into a serving dish.
Cut garlic toast into triangles and arrange around edge of serving dish.
Serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings.
