Spaghetti In A Skillet Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground beef | 1 Pound | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), pressed | |
| Green pepper | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| 3 cups peeled and cubed tomatoes or | ||
| 1 can tomatoes 2-2/3 cups water | ||
| Ketchup | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dried oregano | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 8 oz. spaghetti, broken in thirds | ||
| 3 slices toast, spread with garlic butter, for garnish | ||
Directions
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown meat, onion and garlic, stirring to break up meat.
Add green pepper.
Cook 3 minutes longer.
Add tomatoes, water, ketchup, salt, oregano and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Add spaghetti.
Bring back to a boil, stirring to separate spaghetti pieces.
Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Spoon into a serving dish.
Cut garlic toast into triangles and arrange around edge of serving dish.
Serve immediately.
