Ingredients

 Salt1 1/2 Tablespoon
 Spaghetti12 Ounce
 2 10-oz. packages broccoli spears
 Olive oil1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm), crushed
 Marjoram leaves1/2 Teaspoon, crushed
 1/2 c. dry sauterne
 Pepper1

Directions

Add salt to 5 quarts rapidly boiling water in large saucepan.
Add spaghetti gradually so that water continues to boil.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender.
Drain in colander.
Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain and cut into 2-inch pieces.
Heat olive oil in large pot over medium heat; add garlic, stirring until golden.
Add thyme, marjoram, spaghetti and sauterne; toss until mixed.
Cook for about 3 minutes over low heat.
Add broccoli to spaghetti mixture; toss lightly.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Spoon into serving dish; serve immediately.
