Spaghetti With Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients

| Cherry or plum tomatoes - 2 lb | ||
| Bouquet garni | ||
| Sugar - a pinch | ||
| Cayenne or hot pepper sauce | ||
| Fresh basil or parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped | ||
| Spaghetti | 3/4 Pound | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Peel and chop the onion.
2) Halve the tomatoes.

3) In a saucepan, put the onion and tomatoes with the bouquet garni and simmer gently until mushy.
4) Discard the bouquet garni, then rub the tomato sauce through a sieve, or puree in a blender.
5) Return to the pan and add the sugar, a little cayenne or pepper sauce and seasoning.
6) Stir in the herbs and reheat gently.
7) Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water till just tender.
8) Drain well and turn into a warmed serving dish.
SERVING
9) Pile the tomato sauce on top of spaghetti and serve.
