Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 bud garlic, minced | ||
| Mushrooms | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1/2 cup olive oil or salad oil | ||
| Ground beef | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Hot red pepper | 1 Small | |
| Italian tomatoes | 1 | |
| Tomato Paste | 6 Ounce | |
| Boiling water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Cooked spaghetti | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
1. Saute the onion, garlic and mushrooms in the oil 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Be careful not to let onions brown.
2. Add the beef, saute 2 minutes longer, stirring.
3. Add the red pepper, tomatoes, tomato paste, boiling water, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 40 minutes. Remove the red pepper.
4. Pour over cooked spaghetti on a large warmed platter. Pass grated Parmesan cheese with it.
