Spaghetti With Sausages And Tomatoes Recipe

Ingredients

 
3/4 lb. spaghetti
 
4 tbsp. olive oil
 
1 medium red onion, finely chopped
 
6 oz. sausage (medium spicy)
 
3 small tomatoes, cubed
 
3 basil leaves (1/2 tsp. dry)
 
Salt to taste
 
Dash of red pepper
 
1/2 cup red wine
 
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions

Cook in boiling water until al dente (firm to the bite).
Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce.
Heat in large pan.
Add and cook on a moderate heat until soft.
Remove skin, chop, and add to above and cook for approx 5 minutes, breaking sausage with a fork, until cooked.
Add to above and cook 10 more minutes, stirring often, until sauce thickens.
Add along with pasta, toss, and serve.
