Spaghetti With Asparagus Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Spaghetti | 500 Gram | |
| Parmesan cheese | 2 Tablespoon, grated | |
| ASPARAGUS SAUCE | ||
| Asparagus spears | 500 Gram, trimmed | |
| Olive oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 thick slice wholegrain bread, crumbed | ||
| Evaporated milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mozzarella cheese | 60 Gram, grated | |
| black pepper | 1 | |
Directions
1.Cook spaghetti in boiling water in a large saucepan following packetdirections.
2.To make sauce, steam, boil or microwave asparagus until tender.
Drain and refresh under cold running water.
Cut into 3 cm pieces and set aside.
Heat oil in a trypan, add breadcrumbs and cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring all the time.
Stir in milk and asparagus, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Mix in cheese and continue to cook until melted.
Season to taste with pepper.
3.Place spaghetti on a warmed serving platter, spoon over sauce and toss gently to combine.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
