Spaghetti Alla Carbonara Recipe
Ingredients
| Spaghetti | 8 Ounce | |
| Olive oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Mild ham -2 to 3 ounces, or Canadian back bacon, finely diced | ||
| Whole black peppercorns | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Small eggs -1 large or 2 | ||
| Romano | 1 Ounce, grated | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1 Ounce, grated | |
Directions
MAKING
1) To cook the spaghetti, in a pot, add salted water and boil.
2) Add spaghetti into the pot, and start preparing the sauce.
3) In a pan, heat oil and add ham and peppercorns.
4) In a bowl, add eggs and whisk with a fork and mix in cheeses.
5) Cook spaghetti al dente, drain and return to pot.
6) Drop in the egg-cheese mix into the pasta and mix with wooden forks.
7) Add pepper and ham, mix well.
SERVING
8) Top with extra ham and pepper and serve.
