Spaghetti A La King Crab Recipe

Ingredients
| Parmesan Croutons | ||
| King crab | 2 Can (10oz), frozen | |
| Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Green onions | 1 Bunch (100gm), sliced | |
| Tomatoes | 2 Medium, peeled | |
| Parsley | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Thyme | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 pound enriched spaghetti | ||
Directions
1. Prepare Parmesan Croutons; set aside.
2. Drain canned crab and slice. or, defrost, drain, and slice frozen crab.
3. Heat olive oil, butter, and garlic in a saucepan. Add crab, green onions, tomatoes, parsley, lemon juice, basil, thyme, and salt. Heat gently 8 to 10 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti following package directions; drain.
5. Toss spaghetti with king crab sauce. Top with Parmesan Croutons. Pass additional grated Parmesan cheese.

This is one of the recipes I made often when my kids were growing up. It is the exact recipe, with tiny modifications. I don't peel the tomatoes and cut them in a fine wedge. Trader Joe's garlic croutons are great, as is their crab meat.
We thought we had lost all of our copies of the family recipes, so it is good to find this on the internet.
I LOVE the flavor of this!
