Soya Mint Tikkis Recipe

The soy mint tikkis are snacky indian preparations that are usually served with spicy chutneys. Made with chickepeas, soy nuggets, flavored with chopped mint, green chillies and ginger, the tikkis are cooked to a golden brown and served immediately.This is a special low sugar recipe great for diabetics as well as for people on low carb diet. Directions

Soak soya nuggets in hot water for 10 to 15 minutes.
Drain and squeeze out all the water.
Blend together Kabuli chana, soya nuggets and mint in a blender to get a smooth paste.
Add green chillies, ginger and salt, and mix well.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape it into round, flat tikkis.
Cook them on a non stick pan using a little oil till both sides are golden brown.
Serve hot with a chutney of your choice.
