2 CUPS BASAMATI RICE
2 TB SPOON CORN OIL
3 CARDAMOM PODS
4 WHOLE CLOVE
1 MEDIUM ONION CHOPPED
2 TB SPOON RAISINS
1 TEA SPOON SALT
2 TB SPOON DRY DILL
2 1/2 WATER
Directions
. WASH RICE IN A BOWL WELL IN SEVERAL TIMES CHANGE OF WATER.
. DRAIN WATER AND KEEP A SIDE.
. PUT THE OIL IN SAUCE PAN AND SET ON MEDIUM HEAT.
. WHEN THE OIL IS HOT,PUT IN CARDAMOM AND CLOVE,ONION STIR FOR A SECONDS.
. PUT IN THE RICE,SALT AND DILL,STIR FOR A MINUTES
. PUT WATER AND BRING TO A BOIL
. TURN HEAT LOW AND COOK FOR 15 MINUTES
. STIR GENTLY AND SERVE HOT.
