Soy Marinated Skin Steaks Recipe
Ingredients
| 5 large cloves garlic, put through press | ||
| Tomato Paste | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Ground black pepper | To Taste | |
| 3 tablespoons imported Chinese soy sauce or Japanese soy sauce | ||
| 3 pounds skirt or flank steaks | ||
| Greens such as parsley or watercress for decoration | ||
| Oregano leaves | 1 1/2 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Vegetable oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Combine the garlic, soy sauce, oregano, oil, tomato paste and pepper and spread on both sides of steaks.
Refrigerate overnight.
Broil steaks 2 inches from source of heat for 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
Slice very thinly on the diagonal and serve at room temperature.
NOTE TO COOK: Prepare steaks at home within an hour of going to the party.
Do not refrigerate.
Carry to party on serving platter, well wrapped.
Decorate platter with greens and serve.
