Soy Cornmeal Porridge Recipe

Ingredients

 1/2 cup soy grits
 1 cup cold water, potato water or milk
 Cornmeal1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 3 cups hot water, potato water or milk
 Nutritional yeast2 Tablespoon

Directions

Mix soy grits, cornmeal, salt and yeast with cold water to make smooth paste.
Stir mixture into boiling liquid in top of double boiler.
Cook over direct heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Cover.
Place over bottom of double boiler, to which hot water has been added.
Cook for one hour.
