Soy Rice Burgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Soybeans | 1 15 1/2 Ounce, drained, rinsed | |
| Cooked brown rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| 2 eggs, lightly beaten | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Celery salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Whole wheat bread crumbs | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4, teaspoon paprika | ||
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Wheat germ | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Whole wheat bread slice | 8 | |
Directions
1. Grind the soybeans, using the coarse blade of the meat grinder. Mix the soybeans with the other ingredients, with the exception of the wheat germ and bread slices.
2. Form into 4 burgers. Coat with the wheat germ.
3. Broil over a charcoal fire, or under the broiler, until lightly browned. Alternately, the burgers may be baked on a baking sheet in a 350-degree oven for 35 minutes.
