Southland Sesame Sticks Recipe
Ingredients
| Margarine | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 dashes cayenne pepper | ||
| Unsifted flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ice water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sesame seed | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Cut margarine into the flour, salt and pepper.
Sprinkle ice water over dough while tossing it with a fork until it forms a ball.
Roll out on floured board to 1/8 inch thickness and cut into 1 inch wide sticks.
Place on ungreased baking sheets and sprinkle generously with sesame seed.
Bake 15 minutes.
Before removing from pan and while still hot, sprinkle with a little salt.
