Southern Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 eggs, well beaten
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
32 pecan halves
1 unbaked (9 inch) deep dish pie shell or 2 regular shells
Directions
Cream the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Mix in the flour, eggs, salt, corn syrup and vanilla.
Pour into the pie shell.
Cover with pecan halves.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
