Ingredients

 
Fresh corn - 2 cups, cut from cob
 
Sugar - 2 teaspoons
 
Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons
 
Ground pepper - 1/8 teaspoon
 
Eggs – 3, lightly beaten
 
Butter - 2 tablespoons
 
Milk - 2 cups

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 350° F.
2) Grease a 1 quart casserole.

MAKING
3) Take a bowl and combine sugar, corn, salt and pepper in it.
4) Add the eggs and mix well.
5) Take a saucepan and mix milk with butter in it. Heat until butter melts completely.
6) Blend into the corn mixture.
7) Put mixture in the prepared casserole.
8) Place the casserole in a pan of hot water.
9) Bake for about 1 hour or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

SERVING
10) Garnish with fresh parsley and serve Southern Corn Pudding hot.
