Ingredients
1/4 c. cooking oil
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. canned peach juice
1/2 c. catsup
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. onion juice
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
Dash of cayenne pepper and Tabasco sauce
3 to 4 lb. spareribs
Directions
Combine all ingredients except ribs; bring to a boil.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Parboil spareribs until tender.
To cook on grill, brush ribs with sauce; arrange on greased grill.
Grill slowly until well done, turning frequently and brushing generously with sauce.
To cook in oven, arrange on a rack in pan; brush with sauce.
Place in 450 degree oven and cook 30 minutes.
Continue baking at 350 degrees until cooked and well browned, 40 minutes to 1 hour.
Turn frequently; brush often with sauce.
