1 cup dark corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs beaten slightly
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup pecan halves
1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix all ingredients slightly and pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake on lower shelf of oven at 375F for 40 to 50 minutes.
