2 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 (8 ounce) package cooked country or regular ham slices

Directions
Combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Add buttermilk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead lightly 4 or 5 times.
Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness; cut with a 1 1/2 inch cutter.
Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet; bake at 450° for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Brush with melted butter.
