Southern Beef Soup Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of celery soup
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can water
1/2 soup can milk
1 jar (about 2 ounces) sliced dried beef, rinsed and chopped
1 cup cooked succotash
1/2 cup chopped canned tomatoes
Directions
In saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender.
Blend in soups; gradually stir in water and milk.
Add remaining ingredients.
Heat; stir occasionally.
