Southern Bbq Chicken and Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| UNCLE BEN'S CONVERTED Brand Rice - 1 cup | ||
| Barbecue sauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Skinless bone-in chicken breasts - 4 | ||
| Frozen corn-on-the-cob - 1 package (6 half ears) | ||
Directions
MAKING
1 In a large skillet, combine water, rice, 3/4 cup barbecue sauce and chicken.
2 Bring to a boil.
3 Cover and lower the heat.
4 Simmer for 25 minutes.
5 Add in the corn and continue cooking for 15 to 20 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink in center.
6 Spoon the remaining 1/4 cup barbecue sauce over chicken.
7 Remove from the heat.
8 Allow to stand for 5 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
SERVING
9 Serve hot.
