Southern Barbecue Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Cider vinegar | 1 Quart | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 5 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tablespoons A-l sauce | ||
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 6 whole mint leaves | ||
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 4 shakes Tabasco | ||
| Black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Mixed spices | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Bouillon cube | 1 | |
| Orange | 3 Large, unpeeled | |
| Lemon slices | 2 Large, unpeeled | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Catsup | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sweet basil and oregano to taste | ||
Directions
MAKING
1.Take an enamel or glass container and put vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, A-I sauce, salt, sugar, mint leaves, paprika, Tabasco, black pepper, pickling spices, bouillion cube, unpeeled orange, unpeeeled lemon, water, catsup, salt and oregano.
2.Let the ingredients cook until the time the orange and lemon peel gets tender.
SERVING
3.Use for basting spare ribs and apply on pork or lamb.
