Ingredients
6 10-inch flour tortillas
6 ounces pasteurized process cheese spread
16 ounce can refried beans cup sliced green onions
4 ounce can green chili peppers, rinsed, seeded, and chopped
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 large tomato, cored and chopped
Taco sauce (optional)
Sliced green onion
Directions
Wrap tortillas tightly in foil.
Heat in a 350° oven for 10 minutes.
Mean while, cut process cheese spread into 6 sticks.
In a mixing bowl stir together beans, 1/2 cup green onions, chili peppers, and chili powder.
Remove 1 tortilla from foil.
Spread tortilla with about 1/2 cup bean mixture to within 2 inches of the edge.
Top with 1 tablespoon chopped tomato.
Place 1 process cheese spread stick in center of tortilla.
Fold in 2 sides; roll up.
Place on a greased baking sheet.
Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Bake in a 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes or till heated through.
To serve, spoon taco sauce atop bundles, if desired.
