South Indian Style Coffee Recipe Video

There are ways and ways to make coffee and varieties and varieties of coffee making equipments available in the market ..i have tried out quite a few and have found one method of making coffee which works well for me .. and im sharing it here for those of you coffee lovers who would like to try .. here is how I do it : I take about 250 gms of coffee powder ground into a coarse powder ( i blend 40:40:20 of peabury:arabica:chicory roasted seeds bought out ) add it into one liter of cold water and heat the water to about 90 degrees heat ( you ll know because thats when it starts to go over ) ; i turn off the heat and wait for a few minutes till the coffee powder begins to settle down , then pour it onto a filter cloth which is tied over a vessel ( as shown in the video ) and allow the coffee to filter out; then i squeeze out the remaining decoction from the cloth store the decoction ( you can store it for a few days in a fridge ) ; then to make coffee i heat milk to a boil ( ONLY THE MILK, NOT COFFEE DECOCTION ) and pour it into a tumbler containing about 3 table spoons of the decoction and sugar .. i stir the sugar and pour the resulting coffee into a small vessel from a height so that the coffee gets areated and foaming and then DRINK ! Note: If the milk is too rich then dilute it a bit.. you dont want your coffee to taste too milky .. this holds mainly for milk in the USA where I had found the milk could be diluted by adding 25% water ...
