South Seas Burger Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground chuck | 1 pound | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 8-ounce can crushed pineapple, drain, reserving juice | ||
| Dash garlic powder | ||
| Green pepper | 1 , chopped | |
| Onion | 1 Small, minced | |
| 4 hamburger rolls, split and buttered | ||
Directions
Shape beef into 4 patties.
Combine soy sauce, pineapple juice and garlic powder.
Baste patties with half of this marinade.
Combine pineapple, pepper and onion.
Broil patties for about 4 to 5 minutes on one side.
Turn and top with a dollop of pineapple mixture and remaining marinade.
Broil 2 to 3 minutes until sizzling.
Toast rolls until golden on cut side; top with broiled patties and top slice of bun.
Makes 4 servings.
