| 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted | ||
| Baking soda | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
MAKING
1 In a bowl beat the eggs,add the milk and the starter.
2 Sift together flour,soda,baking powder,salt and sugar and blend throughly with the egg and milk mixture.
3 Bake on a greased griddle.Turn once when the hot cakes bubble and the edges turn dry.
SERVING
4 Serve hot with butter,jam or syrup.
