Sour Cream Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/8 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup sour cream
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Sift flour, baking powder, soda, and salt together.
Cream butter.
Add sugars; beat until soft and creamy.
Add egg and vanilla.
Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream; set aside to chill.
Divide into rolls about 2 inches in diameter; wrap each in waxed paper.
Put in refrigerator; leave until thoroughly chilled.
Cut dough into slices about 1/8 inch thick; place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake about 8 to 10 minutes.
