Directions

In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
Stir in raisins, if using, sour cream and oil; mix to form smooth batter.
Turn out onto lightly floured surface and knead about 10 times or until dough holds together.
Pat out 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick and cut into rectangles about 2 x 1-1/2 inches (5 x 3 cm).
Place on greased baking sheet and bake in 425°F (220°C) oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
