Ingredients
2 Cups Flour
2 Cups Firmly packed Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter or Margarine, softened
1 Cup Chopped Nuts
1 to 2 Tsp. Cinnamon
1 Tsp. Soda
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1 Cup Dairy Sour Cream
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1 Egg
2 Cups (2 medium) Peeled, Finely chopped Apples
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
In large bowl, combine first three ingredients; blend at low speed until crumbly.
Stir in nuts.
Press 2 3/4 cups crumb mixture into ungreased 13" x 9" pan.
To remaining mixture, add cinnamon, soda, salt, sour cream, vanilla and egg; blend well.
Stir in apples; spoon evenly over base.
Bake 25 to 35 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cut into squares; serve with whipped cream, if desired.
