Sour Cherry Cake Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Softened butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sour milk | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| All purpose flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Tablespoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 c. sour cherries | ||
Directions
Grease two 8 inch pans and dust with flour.
Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
In a separate bowl sift flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.
Add butter mixture to flour mixture, alternately with milk, beating after each addition.
Fold in cherries.
Bake in 350° oven about 30 minutes.
