Sour Cream Sugar Cakes Recipe
Ingredients
| 3/4 cup shortening and butter combined | ||
| Sugar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 3 | |
| Dairy sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 teaspoon each of baking soda, baking powder, and salt | ||
Directions
Cream shortening and butter with sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly.
Add sour cream alternately with last 4 ingredients mixed together.
Drop by tablespoons onto greased and floured cookie sheets.
Sprinkle lightly with sugar.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (350° F.) for 10 minutes, or until golden.
