Ingredients

 3/4 cup shortening and butter combined
 Sugar2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Eggs3
 Dairy sour cream1 Cup (16 tbs)
 All purpose flour4 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 teaspoon each of baking soda, baking powder, and salt

Directions

Cream shortening and butter with sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly.
Add sour cream alternately with last 4 ingredients mixed together.
Drop by tablespoons onto greased and floured cookie sheets.
Sprinkle lightly with sugar.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (350° F.) for 10 minutes, or until golden.
