Sour Cream Softies Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Baking powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dairy sour cream | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Cinnamon-sugar | ||
Directions
1. Measure flour, salt, baking powder and soda into a sifter.
2. Beat butter or margarine with sugar until well blended in a large bowl with an electric mixer at high speed; beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift in flour mixture, adding alternately with sour cream; and blending well to make a thick batter.
3. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls, 4 inches apart, on greased cookie sheets; spread into 2-inch rounds; sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
4. Bake in hot oven (400°) 12 minutes, or until lightly golden around edges, Remove from cookie sheets with spatula; cool completely on wire racks.
