| Dairy sour cream | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 cup dried currants or raisins | ||
Directions
Stir together flour, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg. In a large mixer bowl beat butter or margarine till softened. Add sugar and brown sugar and beat till fluffy. Add egg, peel, and vanilla and beat well. Beat in sour cream. Add flour mixture and beat till well mixed. Stir in currants or raisins.
• Drop by rounded teaspoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375° oven for 8 to 10 minutes or till done. Remove and cool.
