Sour Cream Chocolate Cake Recipe
This sour cream chocolate cake recipe has got everything to 'wow' you! This sour cream chocolate cake is always a hit as a dessert . Ingredients
4 ounces bitter chocolate
1 cup hot water
2 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
Melt chocolate with hot water over low heat.
Cream eggs and sugar thoroughly.
Add sour cream, and mix.
Add flour, soda and salt.
Combine chocolate mixture with egg mixture.
Add vanilla.
Pour into two 8-inch, greased and floured cake pans.
Place in cold oven.
Set oven at 300°, and bake for 30-35 minutes; or cake may be baked 50-60 minutes in 9x13-inch pan.
Cool and ice.
