Sour Cream Bars With Raisins Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or oleo
1 3/4 cup quick oatmeal
1 tsp. soda
1 1/3 cup flour
Filling:
2 cup raisins
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cup sour cream
2 1/2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions
Cream together brown sugar and oleo.
Add oatmeal, soda and flour.
Mix well.
Put 1/2 of oatmeal mixture in 9x13 inch greased pan.
Bake 7 minutes at 350°.Filling: Cook raisins in small amount of water, drain and cool.
Mix eggs, sour cream, cornstarch, and spices; bring to boil slowly and stirring constantly until thick.
Add cool raisins and vanilla.
Pour over bottom crust.
Put reserved oatmeal mixture over filling.
Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
Cut into bars.
Can also be frozen.
