Soup Kettle Supper Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/4 lb. sliced bacon, cut in pieces | ||
| Cooked ham | 2 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Beef broth | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 1/3 cups packaged pre cooked rice | ||
| Whole kernel corn | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Green beans | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, finely chopped | |
Directions
Fry bacon in a kettle or Dutch oven until crisp.
Remove bacon and drain on absorbent paper.
Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of the drippings.
Fry ham in the hot bacon drippings in kettle until slightly browned.
Add bacon and remaining ingredients except parsley.
Bring to boiling; cover and remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes.
Sprinkle rice mixture with parsley
