Soup 'N Sausage Recipe
Are you looking for people's choice Soup 'n Sausage recipe? I prefer to make Soup 'n Sausage as a Side Dish for all my family get-togethers. Will you be able to suggest a recipe on par with this Soup 'n Sausage recipe? I doubt.
Ingredients
1/2 cup lentils
1/2 lb. Polish sausage, sliced
1 cup minced onion
1/2 cup chopped pared carrots
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 can (16 oz.) tomato sauce
2 cups water
Pinch leaf basil
Pinch leaf marjoram
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Completely soften beans as directed .
In skillet, brown sliced sausage; drain well.
Combine softened lentils and browned sausage in crock pot.
Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix.
Cover and cook on low setting for 10 to 12 hours (on high setting for 4 to 5 hours).
Taste for seasoning.
